Alteration and Extension of a Single-Family House

The recovery and extension of this single-family house were meticulously planned to respect and enhance the original architectural layout, in perfect harmony with the traditional Algarve style. With special attention to preserving traditional characteristics, the project focused on maintaining the essence of the original building, restoring materials and construction details typical of the region, such as the simplicity of lines and unique details of moldings and plasters that evoke Algarvean architecture.
In addition to structural restoration, the extension was designed to meet modern needs for space and comfort, without compromising the building’s historical character. The extension was integrated in a discreet and complementary manner, respecting the original scale and proportions, and using materials and finishes that align with the local style.
Every detail was carefully selected to preserve authenticity while providing a living experience that celebrates the rich architectural heritage of the Algarve.
